Marvel films, it's time for a Black female lead

He might be better. His voice alone can crumble mountains. I’ve heard his name is a killing word.

Amusingly, in the UK, Idris is a soft drinks manufacturer, and Elba is awfully close to Alba, a low-end electronics brand. Being as street as Idris is, I bet he knows this too. He’s literally a can of fizzy drink and a stereo system when you hear it spoken. I find this kind of amusing in a cool way.
His Japanese cousin would be Suntory Matsushita. (I am so using that name for a Japanese character at some point.)

Maybe the real problem is the never ending slush of reboots and remakes and adaptations.

Meanwhile, Storm won’t get her own movie till 2027. She’s and African Queen and Goddess, and sadly Halle Berry phoned it in a bit under fox. Shoulda gone with Jada Pinkett.

Or Lorraine Toussaint or Madge Sinclair, if we could time travel people forward (obiously). Caroline Lee-Johnson comes to mind as well, ditto for Penny Johnson Jerald. Lots of talented people out there and assuming they would want to do sci-fi/fantasy roles. Wouldn't it be fun to be in a casting room to see everyone interested in a role and how they play it?

To be honest and no offence but nobody knows that character anyway.

Anyway who could play storm? I like gabrielle union but she might be too old for the studios

Storm? She’s the third best known X-Man after Wolverine and Cyclops.

The white straight guy who started this thread is pretending he's a black lesbian.

That should pretty much tell you everything you need to know about his intentions here.
Ooooooooh. Now I see what you meant in this post. I was a bit confused when I first read it. I'm kinda slow sometimes. :)

While I can't see Storm as a solo lead, I would certainly have zero objections to a Storm-led X-Men movie. It would certainly make for a nice change from the obsession with Wolverine and the circular focus on Xavier/Erik.
