Not at all. I still think that Seven of Nine was one of the best things in ST: Voyager with Kathryn Janeway (and the vessel)!

Jeri said in her twitter that she is not in just one episode.

The Nemesis thing was a pointless cameo in the crowd at the wedding, and she had zero link to Riker and Troi who were getting married. In Picard, she's linked to him by them both being former Borg and presumably has something of value to contribute to the story.Yes, I just read that too and I was very excited by the news.
(though I'm curious to know why/how Jeri Ryan accepted play a recurring Seven in ST: Picard, the show while in 2001, she refused to reprise her role in ST: Nemesis, while it was just the time of a movie...). Again, I hope that after Seven, Adm. Janeway will appear too, afterwards.
I really don't think PIC will be much like TNG at all. Patrick Stewart has said as much. It's a 10-part introspective story story about Picard with it's own flavour. That being said, I already know that I won't be a regular viewer of ST: Picard. Never managed to hook with TNG so, I don't see why i should be with Picard which should re-use the same recipe but with more visual effects and a deep gap in timeline.
I completely agree on TNG... grew up (sort of) watching that series and tried it out as an adult and was sorely disappointed.I loved TNG growing up, largely can't stand it as an adult (aside from some solid gold episodes like "Yesterday's Enterprise" and others), but I'm hyped for The Picard Show. I might be hugely disappointed, but we'll see come January.
That suit has the power to go anywhere, anywhen, to seemingly observe all of space and time at the pilot's leisure. I suspect it's gonna crop up again (likely getting Georgiou back to the 23rd century for the Section 31 show after Disco S3)
Remember it's all under their new Star Trek Universe umbrella. It's going to be interconnected like 90's Trek or modern Marvel.

That was eighteen years ago and a different project involving different people. Lord knows I wouldn't always make the same decisions now that I made eighteen years ago.
Or maybe she just liked the script better . . . or is less worried about being typcast as Seven now that she's done other things for nearly two decades.
I guess it all depends on where the story goes, only time will tell.I would like to see all of them, including Chakotay, Neelix and Kes.
But that will never happen.![]()
Wasn't Frakes posting selfies with him recently? He was recently filming his Riker scenes for Picard. And Wheaton was there...Confirmed: Wesley Crusher will be making an appearance
Unfortunately, we will never see all of them together in a Star Trek series or movie again, no matter how the outcome of the series will be.I guess it all depends on where the story goes, only time will tell.
For a storyline about Holographic rights and/or his role of tutor towards Seven?
Plus, I lately read too that Kate Mulgrew won't be against a Janeway's return in the ST: Picard so, we could get our trio again, even if in a recurring roles.
