VFX in season 2 (and short treks)

    It may not be geo-locked, but it may be an issue at my end. I don't know.

    That's a message I see when Adblock is activated. Startrek.com wants to play a short ad before the VFX video starts. If you use Adblock with your browser deactivate it and reload the video.

    I finally realized what the Discoprise reminds me of: that awful "restoration" that the Smithsonian originally did on the filming model.

    I noticed the D7s in those shots from the Season Finale appeared to be grey, not black like in the Borath episode.

    Star Trek Online also made theirs a greyish green. So maybe that's the correct colour, and the black look in the Boreth episode was just bad lighting.

    i imagined part of the neck (you can see corridors in there in “such sweet sorrow”) and most of the secondary hull are open like the kelvin enterprise. no?
