Star Trek :Galatic spaceport
For contractual purposes - The Picard show is unrelated and could be on a different channel.
I'm happy to bet money on it being on Netflix. For contractual purposes - The Picard show is unrelated and could be on a different channel.
Don't believe all your hear on Midnight's Edge.
In fact believe very little of it.
It's true. Midnight Edge is only accurate 25% of the time.

TOS wasn't really intended to be international, but it did happen over time. Be willing to bet TOS has been seen in more countries than Discovery.Discovery is the first time it's being properly distributed globally.
Jean-Luc Picard: International Man of MysteryStill won't give us the show's name?![]()
Drop the "2".It's true. Midnight Edge is only accurate 25% of the time.

Discovery has "international appeal," so it's not a stretch for CBS to assume this Picard show will too.

Still not sure how much I buy this. Considering Discovery just dumped its entire setting to go to an unknown timeframe. Changes like that usually don't happen to super popular shows.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Bryan Fuller’s original pitch to CBS had the show starting in Discovery‘s time, but then moving through the eras of Kirk and Picard and then going beyond that, reaching a time period that hasn’t been seen in Star Trek before.
However CBS decided to create a single serialized show and see how it performed before agreeing to anything that elaborate.
You think Parrot Analytics is making stuff up?
Never said that. I'm not sure how accurate their samplings are in a world where they have access to none of the streaming providers data.
Am I correct in assuming your skepticism is based on the vocal minority of angry dudes and "Not My Star Trek" curmudgeons? There's a whole world out there besides them.
Nope. Just looking for some proof that their system is actually valid in measuring demand.
But something makes you suspicious.
It's hardly new. And it's what CBS and a dozen more studios use, so we're stuck with it.Any new system that measures demand should invite questions about how the data is collected and how it is interpreted. Nothing more, nothing less.
I took it as code for "we're not making this for ageing white straight men".One question is how does one become more international in outer space? If their is a premise with more built in broad appeal than, exploring space and meeting aliens I don't know what it is.
