I liked New Eden a bit better than Red Angel, so those results make sense to me. But, it'll be different for every viewer.New Eden got an average of 8.3 here over 262 votes, Red Angel 7.5 over 226 votes

I'm not looking forward to returning to the Klingon stuff.A new signal appears over Boreth, and we see baby TyVoq.
Given Borg Nanites can pretty much instantaneously turn ANY tech in to Borg Tech and hell replicate new Borg tech themselves, I fail to see how nanites that just allow an A.I. to take control of a Human Brain and Body are "more advanced".Why does the Federation have nanites more advanced then even the Borg 100+ years before The Next Generation?
They don't. Future!Control came back via the wormhole from Burnham's mother's latest incursion and brought the design with it.Why does the Federation have nanites more advanced then even the Borg 100+ years before The Next Generation?
A couple things. First, the suit was disabled by an EMP, so I think the containment field would have to be released before she could power it on again.
Second, Controleland blasts a hole in the suit, disabling it to be worn. That's why she yelled Nooo! The suit is probably not usable anymore.
That's exactly how it unfolded. Control knew just where to shoot it, such that the blast would pass through and destroy the crystal. That's exactly how I saw that unfold.
I feel like the last two episodes should've been combined into one--regular length not extended. That would have been an action packed episode where they capture the RA and we got to know her mom before she was snatched away again.Ugggghhhhhhhghhghghhhhhhhh
I love this show, and I love the cast immensely, but this wasn't a great episode by any stretch. It kind of feels like the last two episodes have really gone off the tracks.
That was my thought back then. And, I think that would've been somewhat better than what we've got. Although, I've certainly enjoyed the season for the most part. However, there have been several episodes that were muddled. Having a mystery that forced them to explore really far out to get clues and solve the problems the RA was leading them to would've been great fun.I think the thing that I can't really get over is that the season started so damn promising. They were dealing with a compelling and awesome mystery. It felt like the season would be about the mystery and the adventures they encounter while chasing the answer to the mystery down.

Hear hear. That trailer for next week made me feel (slightly) optimistic as well. The one good thing the episode showed is the red bursts have nothing to do with the Red Angel. They're going to visit a red burst in the next episode. This means that some hint of the original mystery remains
Um. Yes. You're joking, right? Is a rogue genocidal AI pedestrian and hackneyed?
A number of posters have mentioned this now... and I honestly didn't notice it. What scene was this?It was interesting to hear Georgiou describe it as the Prime Universe on-screen. It doesn't seem to quite make sense for that to be terminology she uses, but OK!
Did anyone else think that all-white getup looked an awful lot like a TMP-era uniform?...* Culber is back in his uniform.

The cut is similar in a few places but that's about it.^^^
No. Why? It actually looked like a medical uniform a Doctor might wear and not a pair of Pajamas an 8 year old might wear.![]()
That's the 500 pound gorilla in the room that we've all been avoiding talking about!Every time I see the white uniforms all I think of is how dangerous it would be to eat a burrito while wearing it
