OK pardon my weird sense of humour but I just had this picture in my head of Georgiou beaming down to the planet then running around collecting all those ganglia that fell off for a big meal or her private stash of food stores.

For all we know, the entire series was Riker's holodeck recreation of the era with plenty of artistic license to appeal to his personal sense of what is entertainment (Theme song included).

Should provide her a lifetime supply in my estimation.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
    4056 villages x 40 Kelpiens = global population of 162240 Kelpiens.

Great episode. That's two episodes this season that I like so far.

that is my interpretation anyway. that's the only way to make sense of a lot of the stupid stuff in that show, including Ferengi, Romulans and the whole fucking Augment Virus travesty

Maybe we got it all wrong and Georgiou's redemption arc will actually be about her retirement from Section 31 to open a Kelpien restaurant.

Many people like this story arc....

Well the Blue Plate special at the Kelpian Inn was a combination of roast Ba'ul and threat ganglia with chives and jalapenos.

Overall still a pretty underwhelming story arc.

I thought Alec Newman did a good job. he was good in Dune and excellent in Children of Dune, so it was cool to see him in the role. I could have done without having yet another Soong but the rest was good.

Although I liked Soong, too, but fair enough.

Biggest problem with the augment arc is the augments came across as dumber than a box of of hammers.

At least it would make Starfleet a reflection of real life in our universe, join X we are so diverse but we only let the people at the top come from a certain section of society. In universe Starfleet has enough Terran (cough...cough White) privilege they can let the odd alien captain join the ranks.

Not really - they were all EXTREMELY arrogant and overconfident. <--- That's what did them in at the end.
