Klingon change for season 2?

Yes, Klingon hair (and D7 battlecruisers) is a course correction and yes, CBS are spinning it. But I don't think appeasing the fans is their #1 motivation - I think it's to better align with the Next Generation universe for The Picard Show for Worf's inevitable appearence.

Plus, remember there has been a LOT of creative upheavel on the show. I'm not sure if the people who finished season one were the same who started it. Hopefully S2 will have more BTS stability.

The Disco Klingons also stretch out their skulls and burn their ears during wartime, in a ritual known as the QIp poH Pffft.

It was Fuller who mandated the bald Klingons, and it was Fuller who told the ship designers to ignore all the previous Klingon looks.

But he 'left the show' in late 2016. Which I'm sure would have been enough time to change any of the designs he wanted, so someone higher up wanted to keep them and not start from scratch.

Or I could be wrong and it was just too far into Pre-Production to change course.

The creative team is stocked with Kelvinverse people or others who are sympatico with that style. The Klingon style isn't that far off from the Kelvinverse versions. So removing Fuller would never have been enough to change the look and feel of the show. They'd have to compeltely clean-house and that wasn't going to happen with Kurtzman at the helm. Plus Les and company have gone on record to say that the Kelvinverse look is, in their eyes, synonymous with "contemporary" and "what kids these days want" and so we get more of the same.

I don't have to back up a claim I never made, that's all. Sorry your reading comprehension is so poor that you can't follow.
"I said people who worked on Kelvin or are simpatico with that style."

You're claiming that is a thing.
