That could be interesting. He could play the Norman Osborn role or "Amanda Waller" role. Assembling villains to replace the Avengers. I don't know why though.

He surely knows Zemo is a huge threat. Vulture is a low level villain. Ghost was going to be reformed.

And it's worth pointing out hat Vulture isn't likely to to appear in any non-Sony owned movies.

I did have one thought about how a Dark Avengers movie could work, just save it for the big conclusion to the Phase, and spend the rest of the introducing the villains who will join it. Basically do it like they did for the Avengers in Phase 1, only this time it's Ross coming to the see the villains after they're defeated.

Red Hulk, too. Otherwise, why bring back Ross?

I'm not sure anyone really deserves 15 million bucks for a single job, but actresses do deserve to get paid as much as actors.

It's well overdue. Hopefully this helps create a new standard.

Damn. If it was a year or two later, I could imagine it was Captain Marvel 2 or Spider-Man Homecoming 3 :sigh:. Still, its probably for the best. Half the cast don't even want to do it now that Disney fired Gunn for bullshit reasons. Maybe this will clear the way for some of them to go to Suicide Squad 2. Bautista as Bane has been brought up by some fans, and I think that would be pretty cool.

Well, at least they have a believable reason to create a new team of Guardians. Just have some of the deaths in IW stick for whatever reason and have Rocket be depressed until he forms a new team of Guardians. Then maybe kill Rocket off too.

I assumed that Gamora would stick because she wasn't dusted, but outright killed. It would be hard to justify brining back some dusted people and not others, though.

I expect Gamora to return because she has taken residence inside the Soul Gem. She might not be the same when she returns, but I would very surprised if she stayed dead.

Good point, and something similar happened in the comics. Still, I don't see them justifying bring back, say, Spider-Man but not Star Lord. You'd think it was every dusted person back or no dusted person.

Yeah, on that I agree. It's all or nothing and there's way no one returns.

When we see Gamora during Thanos' Soul Gem "vision" in the second or two immediately following The Snap, I wonder if Thanos sees her as a child because of fond memories or if Gamora is intentionally projecting herself that way to fuck with him.

Why would they do "Suicide Squad 2", when most of the actors and actresses from that previous film are rumored to be returning? And Bane in "Suicide Squad 2"? No thanks. Talk about dampening the tone.

By the way, how did Kevin Feige and the screenwriters for the MCU movies failed to know the difference between an accord and a law? In fact, how did so many film critics failed to know?

We've been over this one before. Everyone knows the difference between an accord and a law. We just don't care that an action movie didn't stop the plot to explain the necessary behind the scenes steps of translating an accord into laws (which is a normal process that the Sokovia Accords could certainly be expected to follow). Nor do we care that an action movie makes the political process look fast and efficient in order to get the bureucracy no one wants to watch out of the way, even though we know politicians aren't actually capable of doing that. (Then again, politicians also aren't actually capable of serious, direct international cooperation, yet SHIELD clearly operated under the purview of an international oversight council in Avengers which was efficient enough to order a specific response to the Manhattan attack in a matter of minutes, so Marvel Universe politicians are a breed apart, it seems.)

    Good call on Bane, though.
