Is there that much wood veneer and beige low pile carpet left in Hollywood?I'm expecting it to be shot on thinly-rejigged Discovery sets, in a modern serialized style. If it looks or feels like TNG, I will be surprised.

The Orville gang probably bought it all up!Is there that much wood veneer and beige low pile carpet left in Hollywood?
Best way to predict if all rumors are true …. start tracking Jonathan Frakes visits to the gym.
I think what fans want most out of this is for it to look like no time has passed with TNG in terms of how it's produced. Everyone seems to want the visuals to look EXACTLY the same as well as the music -- I think I even saw one person somewhere say they wanted it in 4:3 format as opposed to 16:9. They basically wanted it to be TNG season 8.
I don't want "TMP" where the old timers are poured into their space suits like time as never passed.

Not me. I actually prefer the "All Good Things" aproach where we see where everyone is now at in their lives.

I think you have no idea what fans want most.
Like what other fans keep saying, I want to see where Picard would be now, 20 something years after All Good Things. Ambassador, Admiral, Starfleet Academy, wherever, I almost don't want him on a ship at all.
I could see Picard on a ship, he's not that old in the 24th century, and while he might leave to go to some archelogical dig, I don't see him doing Admiral, but maybe still in the Captain's chair.
I could see Riker as an admiral, he was always career minded, aside from his man-crush on Picard for 15 years.
There's no reason a mini series couldn't bring most of the TNG cast in a story together, naratives have advanced a lot since the days of a series with a single crew on one ship appearing in every episode. Look at the main characters in Game Of Thrones - Jon Snow, Denerys, Arya, Cercie.
First 6 years I don't think any of them were on screen at the same time!
Admiral Janeway
No. Just No.

Hey, it’s canon......
I hate Nemesis as much as the next person who used to live within walking distance of seven sisters (hey Marina) but that moment was there on screen.
Travelling the infinite multiverse with Q, IIRCPicard could be an archaelogist. What is Vash up to these days?
