Klingons appearance - history repeats itself

I always thought the best way of making a joke in Trials and Tribulations would have been dressing Dorn up as a TOS Klingon, and having *none of the characters say a WORD.*
Would it have worked for Worf to come out looking like a regular Klingon when Dax comes out in her minidress?

Or is that what you meant?

I don't understand the question?
There are (at least) three ways to do what you're suggesting.

1) Have all Klingons in every century look like TOS Klingons for that episode.

2) Have Worf look normal in the 24th century, but look like a TOS Klingon in the 23rd century.

3) Have Worf look normal, except when he's in disguise.

So, which is it, #1, #2, #3, or something else? I was asking if you meant #3. You said "dressing Dorn up," the actor, so the question is: when and under which circumstances?

I don't see too much of a difference between 2 and 3, and never thought about it to that degree. I guess I kind of imagined a mix of the two, not necessarily while in disguise, and not necessarily (in Defiant based scenes in the 23rd century), but more like after they "beam into the old footage".
