My new favorite:
"They" could have rotated the song seasonally, a different song for each season. Yes, they all could have been meh, but who knows? However, they could have picked a better song.
Dude, it's seven pages of 127 posts, that's kind of unreasonable. Please read the whole thread, folks.
I got the vibe of "we're going out there for a experience," verses "we're on a professional mission."the theme song used also feels like it makes an explicit statement about "Finally getting past those damned Vulcans who have been keeping us penned in."
I don't know, it seems like @BobR has a point in that it's a very emotional song about the human spirit and being able to achieve anything, which is basically the opposite of what the Vulcans want. They want the humans to be logical, stay in their neighborhood and lower their expectations.I got the vibe of "we're going out there for a experience," verses "we're on a professional mission."
FYI, it is “...jar of pickles” not “can”.I actually like that.
That fits Farscape too
Too much percussion, and the pace doesn’t fit. “Faith of the Heart” fits beautifully.I'm watching Enterprise on Netflix now and I skip the song every episode. It just never seemed right. I saw this recently and I think I like it better:
Star Trek Enterprise Alternate Intro - "Perfect Strangers" Theme
I, too, liked "Archer's Theme" for the closing credits. I think it worked out well that the show used a different song for the closing credits.I do like the use of Archer's Theme in the end credits, though. I always preferred that the opening and closing music be different anyway.
I can tell you right now that nearly every anime in existence has different opening and closing songs. The only other show, that comes to mind right now, that had different opening and closing songs was Baywatch.
I like this. My cat, whose name is not Spot, appears not to. Maybe I had it on too loud for her.I've always loved this.
