The large pillared structure behind the Eiffel tower. It (the wings)looks similar to the court of St. Peters....sort of.

So their virtual camera was aimed "South"...

(Nice touch having that particular UFP/FPU building fronting on l'avenue des Nations Unies there!)

Looks like the DiscOrions are indeed VFX rather than paint:

Cool. Though that does ruin the image of Clint Howard slathered in green body makeup.
Yeah, no one had that image one hour and seventeen minutes ago! Thanks a lot....:sigh:

Is that a screen shot? It looks like a youtuber video game reviewer photoshop thumbnail to make it look like a cooking show(if that makes sense).

This is the first time we've seen "written" Orion (or whatever they call it in their own language(s)) on-screen, right?

I was trying to find it in Discovery, but found it in Enterprise on google images-

It's kinda cool looking. I think I like this better than Klingon letters. I wonder if they show up in that DS9 Episode "O'Brien as Donnie Brasco."

I was intrigued that they came up with a new Klingon typeface instead of the same one we've seen for decades. More of a Helvetica type than what came before. Aside from the abysmal Klingon ships, their art department has done an excellent job overall, IMO.

I think the old type face showed up in a couple scenes (or maybe it was just marketing)

I think the carvings on the D'k tahg, and the Torchbearer's EV suit used the classic typeface, but that isn't really noticeable on screen, only on closeup shots on display.

Maybe the old typeface has been retconned to be a classical style, or something fancy like cursive.
