I don’t think you understand storytelling or diversity.
Girlfriend made me watch a Cinderella type movie last night called #Realityhigh.

Half way through I realized that this was a mainstream movie, albeit a Netflix original, where both the romantic leads were African American, without any one in the film mentioning any obvious racial talking points.

Note, the female lead in Realityhigh is one of the leads from Travelers, which is also "made" (paid for in part) by Netflix, so does that mean that Netflix will also be investing in other actors from Travelers with their own Original movies for the sake of synergy?

Heh...a bunch of those were raided from the NuBSG prop closet and modified just a tad-bit. :D

And for those interested, I spliced together the pic from the most recent AfterTrek that shows all the medals they used:

Enterprise stole it's setting from BSG? How so?

Well I was mostly just making a joke but I guess the idea is both went for the edgy gritty and darkly lit concept. You have older well respected and experienced actor who is captain and a strong willed female lead that is worshiped but also supposed to be dangerous as a lead.

Jason

Sure, but a certain percentage of those fans who dislike the show went in to it wanting to dislike it.
Judging from some of the complaints I wonder if they’ve even watched a show since Enterprise. A lot of people complain about how there is an ongoing story that isn’t wrapped up and forgotten in 42 minutes. They want the entire arc in one episode.

I think about 90% of shows are gritty and darker lit. That's just the style these days.
