Someone said "a sleeper agent" earlier in this thread and thats excactly right, he doesnt even realize his voq. As L'rell told voq the last time we saw him, "you have to sacrifice Everything!"... And with that "soon" comment at the end....its not even a spoiler anymore.

Has anyone mentioned that Lorcas override seems to involve the ice cracking on Stamets spore pod Windows in the same way that we had the space bugs go after Michaels transport way back in episode three when he happened to pick her up?
Is this how he survived the destruction of his earlier ship? I.e he didn’t and he is a baddy Space spore taking Human form same as Stamets is now Toad from super Mário, complete with warp pipe navigation?
Or am I misremembering.
(Some of this post is actual supposition, some of it is not. But not giving Stamets a woolly hat in red and white is a missed opportunity.)
That ice cracking will be important though. Especially if the mushroom network turns out to be sentient.

No, they med-evaced the Admiral and the Discovery was headed to the Starbase, where I'm sure L'Rell would have been questioned.

They never made it, so she's still on the ship.

 

The producers have stated that it's the Prime timeline and they've put a lot of Easter eggs in to that effect. So, I don't think what you're suggesting is true. Granted, that could be a surprise they have in store for us, but I don't think so.

 

The producers have said that it "takes place in the prime timeline." Technically, even if only one episode this season took place in prime, this would be correct.

 

Looks like most of the debris is Klingon

 

I don't think it's a coincidence that Lorca knows about the parallel universes and also aborted a jump. I'm pretty sure they're in a parallel universe and will need to find their way back. I'm not sure how long of an arc that will be? The rest of the season? The rest of the series? They need to get the cloaking algorithm to the rest of the fleet so there is some urgency!

 

Where is the "jettison ion pod" button?

 

The one I remember was Azati Prime in Enterprise's 3rd Season. It was not a Christmas break, but we had to wait 7 weeks for the next episode.
And what a cliff hangar it was! Enterprise being pummeled, crew flying out of breaches in the ship, Archer about to be handed over to the reptiles, etc.
