My continuing theory that Silly Tilly is 16, starts to flounder, if she put her hat in the ring to take a shot at Tyler, who is clearly straddling 30 (the actor is 27)... but if Tilly has dibs, I saw her call dibs, did you see her call dibs? ...And the girl-code has survived into the 23rd century...

Meangirls or Gone Girl?

Michael Burnham is on borrowed time.
Yes I saw her call dibs.. there is no girl code. That is a myth. You get the guy and it tastes extra good.

Edit - Tilly has no chance with Michael in the ring.

You think Michael has "Game"?

Pick one...

1. Michael is beyond innocent because all her adolescent love match opportunities on Vulcan were racist Vulcans, who would never touch a human in that way.

2. Michael got plenty on Vulcan because all the Vulcan's swarming around her, wanted empirical verification of human inferiority, because they are racists towards humans.

3. Michael found a lover, practising dating and seduction on the Shenzou with non-Vulcans who appreciated her as a sexual person of value, and not as a zoological experiment freakshow. Possibly Saru, although more likely Gerogou?

4. Between free ftl communication, and free interstellar transport, Michael had a life outside Vulcan, The Science Academy and the Shenzou, so probably had a relatively normal sexual development as a citizen of a vast empire, until she went to prison.

Ash is interested. Her allure is from that.

Vulcans do that once in seven years thing, don't they? Michael does not live in dog years and she's way too pretty and human to wait, so that cancels out option 1. and 2. I think 4. (Phillipa was special to her, I'm not sure that it was sexual. Saru is like her brother so 3. is dubious).

There are probably good reasons for species-specific ships as well. Andorians like it much colder than anyone else, for instance. Vulcans find human odors offensive. Tellarites.. well.. Tellarites. For the larger member species of the UFP, species spefic ships in Starfleet might make the norm. Since we know Vulcans still have their own exploration group, (and the UESPA still exists too in TOS) it stands to reason Andorians and others still have theirs as well.

Mixed species ships may be less the norm, or else where those who are from species with only a few members in Starfleet wind up. Saru for instance, according to Desperate Hours, is possibly the only Kelpian in Starfleet.

I agree and perhaps if a Human meets or is prepared to meet the standards for a Vulcan or Andorian vessel can Starfleet really deny them?

btw @Guy Gardener should I watch Pretty Little Liars?

Netflix says I would enjoy it

Long story short: Gossip Girl vs. Jigsaw (from the Saw movies).

Longer story...

It's a question of if you can handle idiot Highschool kids making much ado about nothing, when they should be buying air-tickets to Spain.

Four 16 year old girls (and they stay 16 years old for 5 seasons) are cyberstalked, real stalked, monitored, and cyberbullied, by a faceless internet entity on the other end of their cellphones, taunting them with abuse, and black mailing these children into doing awful things to each other, and the town, otherwise, the four girls will be incriminated for the recent murder of their best friend, or murdered, or be punished by some other novel but humiliating means.

The goodness of the show is in trying to follow the clues to figure out who the cyberstaker is, and over the course of 6 seasons almost everyone, including the four girls being victimised, is conceivably the mastermind behind this twisted campaign of terror.

The pilot is pretty rough, and season one is low stakes, but the tension is ramped up continuously as worse and worse unthinkable situations are forced onto the 4 heroes, as they panic and scurry.

The first two seasons are solid, less so for the next four.

So, to answer you question: "No, don't watch Pretty Little Liars".

You are better than this. :)

Talk about trek all you like, however there are dedicated areas for demonizing groups of folks you don't like. I suggest you take your hatred of Christians,Trump Supporters, or whoever else you'd like to demonize to TNZ.
I guess when all else fails make false claims about what I wrote. Did I express hatred for all Christians, did I even mention Trump supporters. Are you the moderator on this site to tell me what I can and cannot discuss?
I suspect all answers to my question will fit on a postage stamp.
Trek issues do include the topic of prejudice and racism, if you find that uncomfortable you can always take your discomfort to Stormfront or other likeminded sites.... (See what I did there?)

Referenced Space Nazis?

Vulcan's sky is an interesting sight indeed. I wonder if it's supposed to change as rapidly and unpredictably as the skies of Los Angeles in Blade Runner... Those huge celestial bodies seem to come and go. Or then linger at the exact spot be it day or night, as in "Yesteryear", suggesting they are moving at an extreme speed to match Vulcan's rotation, and thus probably not orbiting Vulcan but merely passing by. Much like Remus passes Romulus every few years in ST:NEM...

It was a suggestion to go to a more appropriate forum, one part of this site. Insinuating that I'm a white nationalist is over the line, but hey this site is run by your buddies. I wouldn't expect the mods to come down on you.

I just want to talk about ST and not fight political battles that can't be won by anybody on a Sci-Fi discussion site. Out of respect for the rest the the folks here I'll just drop the topic.
