Maaaaan... just give up with the Borg.
When does it go from beating a dead horse to literally and physically defecating on the decomposed remains of what used to be a horse?
How to put this delicately
"Endgame"

Oh and for when you move on to Enterprise. Here is one tyhing that I just found that will wash away all of its flaws and logically explain it all in a way that makes sense.

I'm really not kidding here. This one strip explains everything you need to know about Enterprise.
I maintain that they are what you get when you ask for volunteers for deep space exploration missions that are absolutely positively certain death. You know, like a one way trip to mars. The Best and Brightest stand back and watch what happens while the cluelessly enthusiastic step up. At least they are cheaper than chimps and don't piss off the animal rights activists. The NX Enterprise crew wasn't that bad.

You're forgetting Porthos. Putting him on that ship must have been torture. Archer should have been charged with animal abuse.
Archer claimed he was a "Service Animal".
As someone with an immediate family member with a service dog, I hate fakers like Archer. They make it worse for everyone else. Although as bad as the fakers are, the people who make snide comments because they don't believe the dog is real are still jerks. If it's not real the comment does nothing but make you* feel like a big man/woman. If it is real you just judged a person with some extreme physical issues, hurting their feelings and making their lives that much harder. But if it wasn't for fakers like Archer others wouldn't have reason to doubt legitimacy.
Archer sucks.
*general you, not "you" as in person I was replying to. Nothing wrong with his joke.
Little bit of defence for the NX Enterprise crew coming.
Even if they didn't seem to be on the top of their game, the same thing might have happened to anyone at their place, there wasn't much of space exploration history, Enterprise NX was like losing their space virginity.
Oh I know. One of my dogs was certified. He was a Seizure Dog and could uncannily detect that a seizure was about to happen and get help. He was a small strange looking fluffy lapdog. Not what you would consider a "Working Service Dog". We used to get some weird comments on the rare occasions we had him out in public in his vest. (My personal favorite was always the number of people who wanted to see a demonstration of this ability...)
I would like to think that it would take an Extra Special Kind of Space Virgin to let the Captain's Dog pee on the natives Holy Tree during a first contact mission.

I maintain my theory that Portho's was a certified Service Animal trained in alerting on "sudden onset human stupidity". This is also why we rarely see him in scenes with Trip. he had a secondary mission. He was the only one Admirral Forrest trusted with the Destruct Codes. (The ones Archer had would just open the airlocks to flush everybody out and put the ship on autopilot for home)You know that him saying that Archer claimed it was a service dog was a joke, and not something that the character actually did on the show or in backstory, right? That Archer isn't really someone faking a malady to claim a service dog?![]()
Imperfection is a great episode. One of the seasons best. Which is then followed by one you have to check twice to make sure you are watching the right show... Drive isn't a "bad" episode. At least not in the way of say Threshold /shudder was. It's just a strange fit. Like somebody found a script meant for another show and just ran with it.Imperfection was a very good episode. Janeway and Seven's relationship is fully on-display and it's kind of become one of my favourite parts of the show, despite being something I used to complain about quite a bit.
The best part is it's all about characters! And mortality! When in doubt, write a story about death or mortality or aging. It works literally 99% of the time.
Maybe the writers thought since we already got to see the wedding of the fake Tom and B'Elanna in Course Oblivion, that we didn't need to see it again.I'm a bit annoyed as to why they didn't relegate even a couple of minutes at the end to Tom and B'Elanna's wedding.
Had to double check the forum you posted in to make sure the doctor who you are talking about is actually from Voyager. The Doctor is a cool guy. I feel like I could go to The Doctor and he'd solve all my problems. If I'm depressed and don't feel like going to school some mornings, he's the guy I'd go to to make me feel better. I wish I was friends with him, life would be a lot easier. Oh well.
