3 days after Voyager ended, there was a "Ladies of Star Trek Voyager" convention in Cleveland and I was able to convince 3 friends we had to fly out there and worship at the feet of Janeway and B'Elanna Torres. (No, I don't believe there's any subtext going on between them or between Seven and either of them)

I'm embarrassed to say I don't think I'd fly anywhere for a R&I convention next week, even if given the opportunity.
Then again, despite both series going 7 years, I spent an additional 69 hours with Janeway and Torres than I spent with Rizzoli and Isles.

^^Yes... but I suspect you will be curious enough to peak at a few reviews of the ending and form an opinion even before the season is released on DVD.

Or season 3 when Jane rescues TJ and helps rescue her little brother and Frost from a collapsing building but can't rescue Casey.
You'd think that somewhere I could find the final line from the final scene of the final show of season 4.

Yeah I love how that low life at the end of season 1 is trying to hold onto Jane as if that will help him. Stupid criminals..
Actually, he's even worse since he's a stupid cop that turned on his own buddy to become a stupid criminal and tried to kill Jane in the process.
Then there was season 5 which had a wonderful summer finale...
Followed by a quiet winter / season finale.
Season 6's summer finale let Maura pay Jane back for all the stress Jane put her through the previous year.
Followed by season 6's winter / season finale that was anything BUT quiet.

I can't let the series "Rizzoli snd Isles" end without acknowledging the Rizzles camp.
No matter what happens tonight, I know TPTB will break the hearts of all the Rizzles contingent. I can just imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth that will occur in the AfterEllen review tomorrow... and I won't be able to begrudge them their despair since I will be busy mourning the "end" of the friendship.
We women do "stay" friends after a separation, but its never the same. The phone, the skyping, its never enough.
I wish TNT would at least follow the Cagney and Lacey model for a few years and give us a few TV movies to let us down easier, but how many scenarios can you see an FBI Instructor in Virginia solving a crime with the Chief Medical examiner of Massachusetts?
