Where is her husband in all of this? Are the seperated? Does she live alone or with her child? There must be someone that cares and can lend a helping hand.
She got arrested in Roane County. Their rehab program and help pretty much seems to consist of lock 'em up till they learn better.
To make it short, my opinion of you has gone down to the absolute bottom now.

What I know, her husband and kid still lives in the LA area.
As for how people in those circles "care", I can tell a little story about the rock musician Eddie Hardin (who sadly passed away earlier this year). He was once a member of the Spencer Davis Group, replacing the more famous Steve Winwood as the keyboard player and singer in that band.
He has written a very good book about his life in a book called "ALAB" (Ain't life a b**ch) which I really recommend.
Anyway, during a tour with the SDG in the US, he met a nice girl who happened to be a friend of another younger girl named Lorna Luft. One day this Lorna suggested that she, her friend and Eddie should visit her mother.
The mother lived in a not so nice part of NY, she did seem a bit worn out and had a fridge full of gin bottles. However, she was nice and friendly and had a surprising knowledge of the music business. After a while, Eddie found out that the old woman was actually Judy Garland who had been a well-known singer and actress about a decade earlier but now living in poverty and alcohol abuse.
Some days later Judy Garland took the company, including Mr. Hardin out to an expensive restaurant. She hadn't enough money to pay for the dinner but instead stood up and did sing a couple of songs for the customers, with the approval of the owner of the restaurant and she did show that despite all the trouble, she still could sing.
A few years later, Judy Garlad died.
She was so poor that there were no money for the funeral until Frank Sinatra stepped in and decided to pay for the funeral.
And there, at the funeral they were! All of Judy Garland's former "friends" and "colleagues" who totaly had abandoned her for years and who hadn't cared a s**t if she was dead or alive. Now they showed up, crying crocodile tears over their dead "friend" in front of the cameras, stating to everyone who wanted to listen what a good friend Judy Garland had been and how they had helped her and been so supportive during all those years.
Mr. Hardin was deeply disgusted by this and so was I when I read his book.
That's how the movie and entertainment world "cares".
I guess it will be the same in this sad case.![]()

But you're still allowed to have bodyparts in Tennessee?
I find the breast-feeding plausible but I wouldn't be surprised if it's some kind of mental health problem and/or drug abuse in the end.
As for "she didn't fail because she chose to end her acting career" - there are two possibilities (maybe more) : a) she received a lot of offers but didn't take any because she wanted to do something else or b) she didn't get any offers at all and then said "well, acting is boring anyway!" to make it look better.
Whatever is true she still had more sucess than most who try to become famous and never get a serious offer. I've read that she became a health/nutrition-consultat (which has some irony in it if you looked at her pictures).

Well I wasn't talking about Jennifer's old co workers.....but instead close family and friends. In Judy garlands case it should have been the family that stepped in not former co workers who had their own private lives and family to tend to. I'm sure Mickey rooney was concerned but he was married with his own family. How many of us really take the time to help co workers we haven't worked with or barely seen in 15 years. I'm guessing none unless you are very good friends with them post work....
I'm thinking back to an interview where Robert Picard described how she was on the set, saying she was very eccentric and "you never knew what she was going to say," and that one problem she had was never offering suggestions for her character to the writers. Now on the "Star Trek" FaceBook groups, there are people who have seen her at conventions, saying she was very "spacey" and just not all there.
Where is her husband in all of this? Are the seperated? Does she live alone or with her child? There must be someone that cares and can lend a helping hand.
having watched many many shows on the TV about mental health and due to the fact that my proper title is Dr.* I feel confident making mental health dinoagous via news reports and blurry pictures - it is clear to me that her problem is... [cont. pg.93].

Looks more like drugs, not mental health going by this pic.
I'd probably have a few benders if my claim to fame was being on Star Trek Voyager.
Not a surprise at all, the rumours were out there when she left Voyager, one of the reasons she was picked for the chop versus other cast that could have gone. These rumours then when into overdrive when she appeared in season 6.Knew that years ago.
that was my point. I had told everyone back during Voyager season 1 that she used to show up to conventions high but nobody believed it.
