Jennifer Lien In Legal Trouble Again

These are the two most likely suspects given the area she lives in in Roane County. Roane and Morgan county are pretty much pill mill and meth hubs in East-Tennessee.

I know people who lives in the Nashville area and they are great people with no problems with the law so Tennessee isn't a bad place.

Honestly, I'd rather live anywhere in Tennessee than in the cocain-infested LA-Hellywood hellhole area.

Roan County ≠ Nashville any more than LA = Kern County

Eastern Tennessee is a culture all to itself.

I'm very sorry to hear that Jennifer is having difficulties but will refrain from speculating on what the problem might be. That's for the professionals to deal with...not me.

I'm thinking back to an interview where Robert Picard described how she was on the set, saying she was very eccentric and "you never knew what she was going to say," and that one problem she had was never offering suggestions for her character to the writers. Now on the "Star Trek" FaceBook groups, there are people who have seen her at conventions, saying she was very "spacey" and just not all there.

Picardo should know better than to come up with insinuations abut people he works with and concentrate on what he's doing best, advance from B-character to main character in a few years (Star Trek Voyager, Stargate Atlantis).

In fairness, he's not "insinuating" anything, you're inferring, based on second hand paraphrases.

I read the news today on the Daily Mail's site. I'm so sad that the lovely young girl that we saw on Voyager has descended to the woman that she's become nowadays. I don't know if what's affecting her is addiction, mental illness or a combo of both; but my heart goes out to her. I hope that she gets the help that she so obviously needs.

How hard is it to set up a Meth Lab under your neighbour's house in their crawlspace, and then call the cops?

Revenge like this sounds like a lucrative business.

To bad she doesnt have a social media site where fans can connect with her and show their support for her.....

I live in TN, prescription pills and meth are a huge problem around the state. We are/were #1 in the US for meth production. I'm not to far from where this happened. Harriman is a ghost town; sections of burned out buildings, a lot of empty old store fronts, it pretty run down, trust me it's not a good place to be.

Mere words cannot express the sorrow I feel for Jennifer Lien. I had hoped that the mediation/legal adjudication reached in the domestic violence case involving her mother, would help to stabilize the chaos that was already prevalent in her personal life.

Now in rapid succession there have been the multiple felonies of the spring and these incidents. It seems that the apparent social anxiety disorder that was oft cited during her time on Voyager and afterwards has spiraled into the nadir of a full blown expression of a serious psychiatric disorder.

Today, we have become innured to the presence of no talents, never weres, jackasses, and other assorted schmucks getting well over their 15 minutes. We are now also well accustomed to the overexaggeration of the description of commonplace achievements or some quotidian personal
trial.

Regardless, I have no hesitation in characterizing Ms. Lien's fall off the face of the earth as truly tragic. I find that the dissolution of a person with such rare, intuitive, and touching gifts, attested to repeatedly by her former co-stars even up to the present day, cannot help but make me feel keenly once more the empathy that was evoked in witnessing those performances and persona, once upon a time.

As inevitable and profound as the downward path that Ms. Lien's life appears to be traversing, I feel that I can only express an ardent hope that her very survival is not imminently at risk and that some wellspring of assistance that perhaps has not already been tapped, can help restore a viable level of health and peace in the life of this very special woman.

Poor gal. I hope she gets the help that she needs. From her run-ins with the law I'd suspect some kind of untreated mental illness.

I may have misunderstood what happened.

The brouhaha started because Jennifer was angered by a screaming child.

I thought that that meant that the noise of the baby interrupting her life made Jennifer try to tell the mother over the fence to make her asshole baby shut the #### up because babies are stupid and inconsiderate.

Which is a valid argument.

Breeders are so entitled, and they pass that entitlement onto their children who are almost always just faeces been trained to walk up right.

Hmmm.

But what if she was yelling at the mother because Jennifer was concerned that the neighbour was a shitty parent for ignoring the baby and letting it cry for hours on end when a good parent wouldn't.

Jealously and anger could rise up in several different ways if she decided that this prick next door shouldn't be allowed to have/keep children, if her kids had been taken away from her.

Yup.

Nothing to lose.

<HIjol, throwing 12 years of post-secondary schooling in Early Childhood right out the window>

Yup

The arrest and charging of Lien has just made the press in the UK - I logged into TrekBSS for the first time in a long time to find out what the hell was going on. As others have said, this is a truly tragic downfall of a talented actress but with the slither of "facts" we have, we can't know what has transpired or pass judgement. I do see echoes of "life imitating art" though - Fury - she needs some good friends to remind her of what she was and where she has lost her way.

Me too. A discussion about Lien was the reason I registered here in the first place.

Isn't it interesting how the "news" vary in details? Every site seems to put the few details together in a different way, most of them with a very cheap voyeurism.

Is it true that she had been in prison for two weeks because of this incident?

I think it's a shame that she had to be clothed by the cops and they had to carry her out of her house. I mean that can be real killer to pride and self dignity and that could have long term effects as much as any drugs.
Well maybe not as much, but a 40 year old women should be able to stand up and walk for herself and not need to be carried

She didn't "need" to be carried. She refused to cooperate and was verbally abusive and threatening. So they carried her out.

It was 3 days later that the police tried to drag her away.

This particular nudity had nothing to do with her outburst against her neighbour three days earlier.

1. Jennifer lives alone, she can do what she wants inside her own house.

2. Prolonged periods of nudity in the privacy of your own house can halve your washing. Fuck washing. Fuck washing to hell.

3. If she is gaining weight, nudity inside the privacy of her own house is so much more comfortable than clothes that do not fit.

4. She was watching TV on the couch, even if it was day time, that is a sleepinglike position. Only bashful monkeys wear pyjamas, unless it is bloody cold. Meanwhile falling asleep in your clothes makes one feel like shit. If she was hunkered down for the night and sleeps naked, then whoever came to the door thinking that she should be taken away, was not getting an ounce of help.

5. Non violent protest, because she knew they were coming. It's hard to wrestle or beat up a naked person. Bare boobs might as well be a flak jacket. If you feel threatened by the police in future, I highly suggest disrobing as quickly as possible.

6. Escalation. If Jennifer knew that they were coming then she probably knew why they were coming. "You think what I did to those children was bad, well let me redefine your definition of bad you faceless drone cryptofascists! These are my tits! This is my ass and this is my vagina! Obviously this is the crime of the century you ham faced dildo!"

Yes.

Still it's the thing you read in every "news". How she was lying naked on her sofa.

Btw, why does the police go to her? A letter would not have done the trick? "Please report to the police station, please wear clothes..."

Non violent protest, because she knew they were coming.

I can only talk for myself but I would have taken on clothes at one point. ;)
