Agents of SHIELD - Season 2 Discussion Threads. (Spoilers Likely)

Wonder if she auditioned for Wonder Woman?
Is that sarcasm? Or do you really not know she's already played Wonder Woman?
No, I really didn't know. Not a big WW guy.

I watched the episode again after reading Clark's tweet and I swear she looked every inch of 6'5. I'm watching and thinking, OMG, she's 6'5. Thanks Alidar, for bursting my bubble.

Well, I thought she looked a lot more like WW when she had that red jacket in the hallway then when she had the so called WW costume on in that terrible pilot.

Just adding how powerful it was hearing Simmons statement to Ward. It's understandable, he did try to kill her.

Also, when Agent Walters had the first conversation with Coulson, he asked "How's the Netherlands?". I assumed she answered "Lots of bikes, lots of wheat." but I swear each time I hear it, it sounds like she's saying 'weed'.

I couldn't help but wonder if Walters first name was Jennifer.

Really enjoyed this one. It will be interesting to see which Ward is actually trustworthy.
Really liked seeing Bobbie Morse as a member of the team, I hope she sticks around.
I kind of like the fact that they actually had Simmons and Fitz having trouble working together. I have to admit I kind of expected real Simmons to play the same role as his hallucination did.

I can't decide if Sen. Ward is evil or not but as others said, we'll see.
I'm sure he is (by conventional heroic standards)...it's just a matter of "How evil is he?"

And it showed a great deal of restraint on his part that he didn't bust out laughing....

I pick "d. None of the above."

Who noticed that Mockingbird was wearing a Star Wars shirt at the beginning of "A Fractured House"?
All I noticed was one outfit resembled her comic book costume. Okay,it was a dark jacket over a white top, but for a second there it looked like her costume

Another great episode. I can't decide if Sen. Ward is evil or not but as others said, we'll see.

Gas Ward in the cell he is in without opening the door.

Wake him up in a new prison cell on the other side of the country.

It was moronic to let Ward be awake for a second of the transit between cells.

Unless Ward is on a mission for Coulson.

I was thinking the same thing about knocking him out thinking to myself during that transfer scene "Ward could easily take those guys out."

Let me put it this way, if they can't even handle a simple prisoner transfer what makes you think they can even keep Ward imprisoned? Ward could either break out of the transport, or out of prison. I'm guessing its just more efficient from Ward's point of view (and the writer's) to have him break out of the transport.

Bury him up to his neck.

Keep him in a small kennel.

Hypnosis.

Drugs.

Magnetic suspension.

Subcutaneous tranquilizers/bombs.

Greenland.

Break his legs.

Bottom of a well.

Blind him.

A gold pass subscription to Netflix.

Hold Skye hostage.

Send him to the Moon.

Poison him, temporary antidote administered daily.

induced coma.

False personality patch.

I was examining that shirt very closely, yes. ;)

Thorough list but are you really proposing to send Greenland to the moon to contain Ward? I mean it'll work... but...

Kinda hard to miss...

I'm just astonished Coulson seemed to be "buying" Sen. Ward's story so easily. But then, that's probably an indication that Coulson's got an awesome plot cooked up. It'd better be. There is NO WAY he is that gullible, or emotionally unstable, or just plain stupid.

What's Ward's agenda, now? Did he do what he did to escape you-know-who...or because he's been bad all along (except for his helping Skye)?

He'll probably become a third (maybe fourth) party with his own agenda, a mix between helping Skye, and stopping the things he set in motion. Is he redeemable? To me, no, but I bet he'll try to redeem himself.

If there's any sincere attempt at redemption, it'll probably culminate in him dying heroically--blowing up Whitehall's HQ and all the HYDRA Agents in that division with it, that sort of thing. That's my thought.

I don't think we'll buy anything less.

Kinda obvious who owns all the properties now.

While it's an obvious marketing attempt by Disney (if Star Wars needs marketing at all at this point) i always thought every movie and TV show would need more brands in use and not be constricted to one manufacturer.

Obviously these are the sponsors of the show but it's still distracting when all you see people use are Apple products or cars from one company no matter which scene plays. I know more diversity will never happen but it always bothers me a little.

Well, actually, according to the sub-titles on Hulu...

Watched it tonight, very good episode. But, man, it was utterly stupid for them to transport ward conscious. They should know better and considering they've had him imprisoned all of this time they're not caring about his rights or liberties so why not knock him out, tie him and THEN transport him rather than just putting him in a simple pair of handcuff and then in the back of a standard prisoner transport van with a few inept guards.
