Red shoelaces to jazz up my older trainers
A pair of navy blue and white Fred Perry skinny plimsolls
2001: A space odyssey, and the sequal.

My last purchase was a Seattle's Best coffee drink.

Excluding the boring gas and groceries, I purchased the Hotwheels Enterprise A Refit and D models, and newly released XI Enterprise keychain recently.

Fringe S1 dvds and Heroes S3. New dress pants, two blouses and a sweater. New shoes. 2 books: Dexter by Design and The Lost Symbol.

Fall shopping is done now :)

Lots of soup, saltines, drugs, ice, and a thermometer for my sick volleyball team. For me, I got Dr Strangelove or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb.

Did a bit of grocery shopping and got a couple of halfway decent bottles of wine to replace a few I've drunk lately. I've got a few more bottles coming up for drinking soon so that's not a problem but I need to fill out the medium term a bit. I'm going to do some more restocking tomorrow if I have time, but for now I got 2007 Jean-Claude Chatelain Pouilly-Fume and 2007 Domaine Du Closel Savennieres La Jalousie. Nothing terribly magnificent but both should be tasty enough when the time comes to open them.

Didn't have time to go wine shopping today.

Because I had to go pick up a parcel waiting to me at the post office instead: four lovely new bespoke shirts arrived! Now to think up some new fun combos using them.

Next week, the 8th of October, the house will be mine, all mine!!

So, housewarming party then.... ;)

My last purchase WOULD have been Life on Mars: The Complete Series but no store around here HAD the fucking thing...except Best Buy's website said they had it, even gave a picture and episode listing, but when I went to pick it up, the only version they had was the UK version. :brickwall:

I'm not in a good mood right now.  Now I'm afraid if I order it ONLINE I'll get the wrong version...

I have just recieved a book I bought from Amazon in the post . It is Halfbreed: The Remarkable True Story of George Bent - Caught Between the Worlds of the Indian and the White Man by David Fridtjof Halaas and Andrew E. Masich.

George was the son of a white father (William Bent who founded Bent's Fort) and a Cheyenne mother, Owl Woman. George survived the Sand Creek Massacre. I thin k it will be an interesting read.

Whew! That was a close one! After a frantic phonecall and some last minute driving, I actually FOUND a copy of Life on Mars! (yes, yes, the bloody US version, stop laughing  )
