2001: A Space Odyssey and Blade Runner on Blu-Ray.

In turn, I placed several of my HD-DVDs (including Blade Runner) on Amazon. We'll see if there are any takers. Hopefully I can break even.

Got another navy T-shirt from Coldwater Creek, and hubby picked up the expansion for the BSG board game, from somewhere online.

Last night on Ebay I got this guy for $30. Some guy did a Buy It Now for $30 when for months this rare fig as been topping $40 regularly. He now completes my collection(34 figs) to date before the wave 6 hits in November.

I've been double-charged for an item I bought online. Not a purchase I planned on making! Complaint filed and if it's not refunded with a couple of days, I'm ringing the credit card company to get it reversed.

In other annoying news, my car is getting 4 new brake pads and 2 new discs. A rather large bill I could happily do without... oh well, c'est la vie...

Perhaps a more gentle approach to driving would extend the amount of time before this maintenance is required again?

;)

No need for the winking smilie; you're not kidding. :(

The fronts were still at 60% just 10k miles ago. Half the commute to my last job over the past year was twisty country roads. Lots of heavy braking and downshifting before the curve and then heavy acceleration through and out of it.

Same with my current job that I started from August, but at least the commute is only about a third the length of the last one so this set should last me a while longer! My tyres are going to need changing relatively soon too. Those country roads have all kinds of crap on them that ends up embedded in the rubber.

Got myself Doctor Who The Visual Dictionary Revsied and Expanded (and boy is it ever and well worth the wait. This one is infinetly better than the first edtion, go buy it if your a nu who fan). Also bought Superman New Krypton Volume One after seeing that Two was out. Going to buy two in a couple of weeks. Also got my watch fixed for the first time since last Halloween so I'm happy. I picked up a gift card for my friend's birthday (it's today but we're having his party on Friday night).

It was a couple of weeks ago, but my latest purchase apart from groceries and stuff was a capo for me guitar. Just over six quid. Nice.

Dude, seriously consider those Goodyear Assurance TripleTreds if you're into all-weather tires. My car handled like a completely different vehicle after I put those babies on.

I got a bunch of cool stuff on Blu-ray today:
- Monsters Inc.
- The Girl Next Door
- Fast & Furious 1-4 Box Set

And last but not least... Battlestar Galactica - The Complete Series. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
