I rather like the word Rumtopf. I haven't enjoyed any since I left Germany 20 years ago, this year. Brought back some nice memories.

I guess this counts as a purchase: I just signed up for Medicare, Medicare supplemental insurance, and prescription coverage. No, I'm not turning 65; I'm eligible because I'm on SSDI (disability). But I have to admit it does sort of make me feel old.

Not really.

They peel of quite easy. Done it before and never had an issue.

I may be thinking about 'mirror-tape' -that's as permanent a solution as can be .

I use that (and pads made from the same material) in many places where you'd normally use screws or nails

10 3-cent-stamps (letters got 3 cents more expensive recently), a loaf of spicy rye bread, a pound of walnuts and 3 bananas.

And a dozen handkerchiefs and thin yarn (my mom started clearing out the attic and found lots of leaflets with lace patterns which I am going to try out on the hankies now. Just the thing for a snowy weekend =) )
