Planning ahead for Valentine's Day:
Got hubby a Firefly T-shirt ("Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!") and a pound of his favorite candy--Hot Tamales.
A bottle of Bakon Vodka.
That's funny stuff
A couple of bags of groceries and snacks.
I bought the one thing I wanted for X-mas that no one got for me. I bought Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 originally for 3DS not knowing that the game cartridges were shaped differently than the ones for DS. So, I had to take it back to Best Buy in another town because they had one for DS. The only crappy part of that was I had to pay 8 cents for the tax difference....on my debit card because I had no change. Then I bought some tops from a shop that's going out of business saving $88 because all the stuff I bought was 70% off. Such a steal, I tell you. I also bought myself some slippers with rubber bottoms so I can wear them outside if I'm not in the mood to put on my shoes. Then I decided that it was high time I quit smoking, so I bought an E-cigarette to help aid me in that endeavor. So far, it's working., I haven't bought a pack of smokes since before Christmas. It helps with the physical addiction, which is what it has become over the years. Long story short (too late) all is well in my arena.
A spare cell phone in case I lose or damage my current one (HTC Evo 3D). It's amazing how inexpensive some phones get from just a few months of usage. Definitely worth doing instead of paying a whopping $10 per month for phone insurance.
24 season 1 special edition dvd
Cappuccino - no sugar.
Those are totally worth it. Nice purchase!
I had a bad day yesterday and totally went off the rails about my diet. Dove chocolates were one of many "bad" purchases.
A couple of baseball tickets:
Cardinals at Pirates, 8/1
Rockies at Pirates, 8/2
(I so cannot wait to see PNC Park...)
A bunch of Batman, Batgirl, and Nightwing issues. Time to get caught up on the Joker's New 52 return.
I bought a portable air filter for my apartment. The people that live upstairs cook the most atrocious smelling food.
Thank God for clean air!
A pack of Marlboros. Hooked for over 40 years. Don't start if you haven't.
A set of turquoise measuring cups and some groceries.
A Ghirardelligift basket and a DS game for a friend & her daughter. Both have birthdays this weekend.
Would be a pity if a few pieces fell out of the basket and we had to eat them.
I got some groceries for the next day or two just in case the snow we're getting today makes travel a little messy.
Which is why I order those from Amazon and have it shipped, because otherwise, it would never make it out of my house.
^ Wise woman.
^I am well-aware of my inability to resist chocolate.
