Your latest purchases, cont.

Got Rough Beasts of Empire this morning. I also managed to get hold of Knights of the old republic 1 :)

Got a jumper from next for £5, nearly went mad and almost brought a bag that had been reduce from £120 to £55, but lucky notice it had a mark on it and the only other bag in the back was a different colour.
Trying not to look for this bag on the net.

I have just ordered these dolls

I should receive them in about two weeks.

I went to Austria to do some shopping today. I got pants and some presents for other people.

It's a good thing he did too. Imagine going to weddings, parties, sporting events, movies, shopping and work in your underwear for the last several years.

My first two Little Travellers, that I think I mentioned in this thread when I ordered them, arrived today. This are little dolls that are made by women affected by HIV/AIDS in South Africa and for many of the women these dolls are their only source of income.

I have shrunk the picture I have taken of them so they appear the same size in the photo as they are in real life.

It is a little silly but I am slightly disappointed that their dresses are almost the same colour. I have just ordered another two and I hope they will be other colours.

Bought a new glass vase from Habitat in their sale as I broke an old one some months ago and never got round to replacing it until now. Then bought some roses to put into it. :)

Did some grocery shopping and filled up the car too. Was surprised to notice that the cost of V-Power petrol is now up to 134p per litre.

^LOVE the movie.

Today, I bought a 12-pack of throwback Dr. Pepper, some frozen pizzas (for a friend's pizza-party) and a 12 inch turkey sandwich from Subway. That covered lunch and dinner for me.

I just bought myself one of these off eBay.

Except mine doesn't have a hole, unfortunately. However I have seen on UK eBay that does have a hole and I will buy that next payday. Sometimes these things have two holes i.e another hole at the bottom of the handle.

I wonder how many people here know what these things are used for?

I know what it is, and what it's for. But were you aware the name of the item is in the title of the picture, so that all you have to do is click on it and it tells you what it is?

Oops, I should have thought of that. Silly me.

Anyway it has been identified by you in the "What is it" thread so I don't need to change the name of the picture's title.

It has been a long time since I used a lucet but they are very easy to use so I should pick the skill up again very quickly.

just bought the 'band of brothers' box set. Will start on them once I've finished my thunder birds box set got for christmas

It's the first day of the sales, so I bought new shoes, 2 sweaters and a t-shirt. :)
