A few last minute groceries to stock up before the hurricane.
Did you wake up to a clear sunny morning like I did? I thought it would be a rainy day at least............

While those are not first editions, they are all in unread condition and I bought them for the artwork on the covers. I have other reading copies. The lot of 5 was $3.99.![]()
Got gas for my car
My wife was curious about the recalled first printing of Killing Time, from 1985. I read it back in the day, because I always bought the novels as soon as they came out. I thought the "controversial" parts were just over-the-top and kind of funny. Anyhow, I sold off my collection about 15 years ago.
So....after sorting through hundreds of listings, I finally found this one. Seven out of the eight, including Killing Time, are Canadian editions with the little maple leaf on the cover. I had not been aware that Pocket made distinct editions for the Canadian market.
The lot was $12.22 and, happily, includes The Final Reflection, which is one of my favorite Trek novels.
