Last Friday, the Emerald City Comic Con Limited Edition Vinyl Pops went on sale. I only wanted one of the pops - the new Arya Stark - but I wanted two of her. I went to my favourite site 15 minutes before the sale started but there was a line to get into the site and the line had been paused. I decided to go to other sites but the first two had sold out. The third site had a limit of one only so I bought her. Kept running around to various sites but all sold out. They were already selling her at double the price on eBay. Finally, after 2 and 1/2 hours waiting in line I got into the site I was able to buy my second Arya which is a birthday present for a friend. The first Arya arrived today. I am keeping her in her box to here is a stock picture
Also I received another order today with Ned Stark, Cersei and Brienne.
And three Out of Box mystery pops at less than half price. My son quickly claimed the Dragon Ball Z ones (Gohan and Trunks) and I think I have a friend who would like the Baywatch one - I have never watched a single episode of the show.

I have seen videos online in which people show off their collections that are 10 or 20 times the size of mine.
Yes, I only collect those pop that have special meaning to me. I will be collecting the Addams Family pops when they are released later in the year as I loved the show as a child. If they bought out Babylon 5 or Red Dwarf pops I would collect them.
I’m a huge fan of watching toy collection/haul/hunting videos but sometimes I feel like the people that have 100+ items are just doing it for the sake of it.
Besides having the Xena pop on preorder, I’ll probably want the entire collection if they make it, depending on if I have the space. But I really hope Funko makes a Gabrielle.

I do feel like collectors tend to fall into two different groups; people who like the collectibles and those who like collecting.
$90 for medication for my cat, As well as being diabetic he is now being treated for hyperthyroidism. I walked 3 km to the vet, and 3km back so I would not have to pay taxi fares on top of the medication, they bus drivers were on strike today 
I've got an old Breville Ikon electric kettle that is going on 8 years now, starting to act up with flaky electrical connection to the base. After looking over so many different kettles and prices, finally settled on a Cuisinart PerfecTemp kettle. Got it refurbished off the 'bay for about 50% off retail. Works really well! I later discovered a Hamilton Beach version of it, nearly identical, priced new at about the same price as the refurbished Cuisinart. PHOTO.
Just sent my son down the road to buy fish and chips for me, and I chicken burger for himself.
