Who did you get?

Even more pops - Arya Stark, Tyrion, Daenerys, Grumpy, Boris Badenov. I got the Grumpy as a Out of the Box Mystery pop which I got so that my order was large enough to get free postage (he was cheaper than the postage)

Want want want Boris, Natasha, Rocky, and Bullwinkle! Ooh, ooh, and Mr. Peabody and his assistant...forget his name.

[GoogleFoo]Sherman[/GoogleFoo]

Crap, and Dudley Do-Right.

Completely forgot, if I ever knew, that the show was based in Frostbite Falls, MN (fictional name for, presumably, International Falls, MN).

Grumpy is so "me" today.

I was just thinking that I need that Grumpy! And Sneezy and Sleepy and...

I still need to get Natasha and the Supreme Leader. I would love to get Sherman and Peabody but Peabody is a bit too expensive.

I don’t plan to buy any more of the dwarves but as I plan to continue to the occasional Out of the Box mystery pop I might end up getting more that way. If the OOB pop is a wrestling or anime one my son will buy it off me, he would also buy some of the gaming pops and I have a couple of friends who collect pops as well.

I was disappointed yesterday. I thought I had got Marvin the Martian at the regular price but I have now been told he is out of stock and my money will be refunded. I am waiting for Duck Dodgers to arrive from another company and I so wanted Marvin to go with him.

My significant other and I went to Riverside Korean in Covington, Ky. for lunch today. Had some Spicy Chicken and this massive bowl of noodle soup. Lunch for two was $60, which wasn't too bad.

We got an urge to go after watching videos from Mikey Chen on YouTube.

$290 more in vet fees.

My cat, Spider, is a bloody nuisance. I was meant to obtain an urine sample and take it to the vet. To make sure that it was his sample and not the other cat’s I keep Spider in my bedroom all night with a special kitty litter that is non absorbent so that I could use a syringe to collect a sample. The cat kept waking me up wanting me to open the door and in the morning he got in a complete huff and hid under the bed and my son had to crawl under to get him out. He did not do a pee all night and so I was unable to get a sample. The vet had to get the sample instead and I was told that the silly cat had a very full bladder.

My older dog came down with lymphoma. He's better now, but I've spent and ungodly amount of money on the best science has to offer to get there. I haven't even tallied it up yet, and odds are it will be back in a couple years.

I think diagnosis and first treatment was a grand. What a way to spend Thanksgiving...

Thank you for caring enough to put forth the money to help him. Most people wouldn't (my parents included). To me, they are just as much a family member as a genetic or adopted human child and worthy of anything we could put toward them.

Sure, though the idea that I could have bought/rescured two or three dozen dogs for the price of saving one hasn't escaped me. I'm also aware this happened at the one time in my life that I could swing the treatments without digging myself into a financial hole. And, if I'm being honest, this was as much about my own selfish refusal to let him go (and my disdain for death and entropy in general) as it was about what I morally owed my dog.

It's entirely too much money and too many conflicts for me to judge anyone for their decisions. Nothing is that clear cut and luck plays a factor in every life. Just don't call me his "doggy parent".

Random tidbit: the dog's name is Spock. I didn't actually name him that, the rescue did.
