A bright blue and white outdoor rug that precisely matches my blue door and white house, can be washed with a hose, and cost only $35. Gracias, IKEA! And black chair pads for my wrought iron bistro (table and) chairs. My front patio is finally becoming quite awesome.

I don't usually shop while depressed (that would be foolish), but after jury duty yesterday (it was a HORRIBLE case), I needed to add something to my doll collection to cheer up. Luckily, American Girl has a sale this week, and I got some new outfits for Julie and Ivy!
I did that once in a UK court - ended up as the foreman. Accidentally used the Klingon Judge's phrasing from ST6 when passing the judgement

Finally upgrading some more of my Star Trek movies from VHS to DVD. I got the Star Trek III/IV Two pack, and just ordered the Star Trek: TNG movie collection DVD from Amazon. After I get that, I'll only need TMP, TFF and TUC and I'll have all the Trek movies (including the abrams films) on DVD, which I should have gotten a long time ago.
