One hardback book, 3 paperbacks, and 2 magazines from Barnes & Noble. Then I went to 2 libraries and borrowed 3 books. A very satisfying day.

Some groceries and dinner items for the next couple of days and two new Star Wars figures that I didn't have.

I finally got my copy of The Force Awakens (with the Dark Side sleeve) on Blu-ray today.
I also got two really cool T-shirts, a Star Wars one and a Flash one.

Okay, I'll bite: what is a "Telescopic Umbrella"?

Is that some sort of German Spy gear??

:shifty:

You can retract it to fit into a bag. The German word for it is "Knirps".
When you are from a country where it often rains, a good umbrella is important. Especially when you don't have a car. A stick umbrella is not very handy. And I tend to forget them somewhere.

These smaller hand-held units (let's call them handies for short :p ) are however also easily forgettabe PLUS inexpensive (no-brand versions are radily available in all sorts of different shops in this climate-zone)
More than once have I come home with a new handy only to realise that I already had one or two in the back-pack I was carrying when the rain started... Oh well, you can never have too many brollys :)

I would never call an umbrella handy, as Handy is the German word for cell phone. Therefore a Handy wouldn't be handy when it rains.....:D
