^oooh, those are awesome! I usually collect only stamps with plants and animals but those are beautiful =)


I bought a bottle of my favourite herbal lemonade today. I didn't drink any in the last 2 years because of the sugar. But this is a new sugar-free version. =) Not bad at all but awfully sweet. I'll buy more tomorrow but shall have to dilute it with water.
 
Just bought myself a birthday present. In a little less than 2 months, I turn 50. 50! Fuck, I'm old. I really only have one friend, and she lives on the other side of the country and is disabled. I know hubby will do nothing for my birthday and I have no friends to plan anything for me, so I'm doing it myself.

I just bought a ticket for an "encounter" at the Houston Zoo with the giraffes. They take you back to see how they care for them, train them, feed them, etc. I get to go with the trainers and spend about 45 minutes interacting with them and the animals. It's $150--sooo, kind of expensive but it's my birthday, so fuck it. Luckily, my birthday is on a Thursday, so it probably won't be very crowded.

So excited!

I'm sorry your husband won't do anything for your birthday. My dad was like that most of the time with my mom. It really ticked me off.

Romulan Drone Ship for Star Trek Attack Wing (for my son) and a few bottles of Vallejo Model Color.

The cool thing was that the owner of the hobby store had a few more ships for Attack Wing--event promos--which he gave to my son for free. He had a great day!
