Finally found a decent dress to wear post-surgery. I walked the entire mall and couldn't find anything. Apparently, if you're fat, you can only dress like a slutty teenager or an 80 year old Mormon.
A friend had suggested Lane Bryant. I passed one on the way home and decided to give it a try. I found a gray knit dress that worked perfectly... but it was 60 bucks. I figured it was worth it, since I liked it enough that I might actually wear it in public.
I'm a jeans and t-shirt woman; the fact that I'm going to have to wear dresses for awhile horrifies me.

Well, the neighbors are kind of like Tim Taylor...they're always after more power, and this time it got out of hand with the laser. ...seriously, the lawnmower sent a rock straight into the window and an entire sweep down the middle just broke into little pieces. I couldn't so much as open and shut the door without little bits of the window falling out.
I hope the neighbor offered to pay for the damage.
They're relatives who can afford it a lot less than I can, but they'll make it good. No worries, shu..tuff happens.

Dinner with a friend at our favorite local pizza restaurant, some soda and two 3.75" figures from The Force Awakens at our local Five Below store. I already had both but I wanted extra copies of them.
Restocking my fridge after getting home from vacation. Bought the essentials, really - milk and booze. 
Just ordered the American Girl of the Year, Gabriela. I've been putting money away for her every month since she was released in January, so no guilt.

Took hubby's nephew out to dinner. He's the only one on that side of the family who has even the slightest chance of making something of himself, despite the parents' best efforts to the contrary.
