Your latest purchases, cont.

I mean, seriously, how epic and retro is this:

DAY-O

bought a cotton dress from Amazon; I HATE dresses but I was told I wouldn't be able to wear jeans for weeks after my surgery next month.

*grumble*

Just got a free 12 month PS Plus voucher from one of my bosses on Playstation's forums. It's a really nice surprise. :) Afterwards I got some backgrounds and avatars that I've wanted for sometime that were free via Plus along with a couple of games (Free PS Plus games), Blood Knights and Type: Rider.

^thanks. It's not until next month but I'm a compulsive planner and have to get everything done in advance.

Tickets for the Texas Rangers vs the San Diego Padres for Monday night at Petco Park. Sitting almost right behind home plate in the Club Level.

As soon as I find out which one, a pocket browser (aka smartphone) will be my most recent purchase.

Nothing new in a guy wanting, or indeed: needing, a new phone, right?

But my reason for being that guy is a tiny bit out of the ordinary:

This weekend I was helping out a friend with emptying a, whatdoyoucall'em, hut? cabin? living in-able shed? - and getting rid of all the mouse-dropping (and whatever else might have been in there) infested clothing, insulation, boxes and boxes of original packaging boxes and ancient gym bags and, and, and...

So there I was; in a darkened room, dressed in the closest we could get to haz-mat gear (well, I did wear gloves!) and stuffing garbage in bags -and throwing those onto a great big fire (well, passing it to a person who was in charge of the out of doors fire).

The reader may be ahead of the story by now, so I'll skip right to the punchline:

I think I found the remains of the battery.

Is there anyone on this site that can recommend a phone? -Preferably mid-class and neither apple nor android! (the battery was inside a Mobile Ubuntu phone).
