You know you're a Trekkie(er) when...

you're aiming your willy to wee in the toilet and say "Lock phasers on target." then "Fire!"

When your girlfriend says... "I can't wait for you to dock your shuttle craft in my shuttle bay," just because she knows you'll appreciate it.

When some of your friends suddenly change beyond recognition so you think they are clones.

When you get off your office chair for a coffee break, tug down your shirt and have a flashback to Kirk doing this.

I don't remember Kirk doing that, but that's definitely the Picard Maneuver!

Where does drafting a full set of deck plans for a star ship put me on the Trek-o-meter???

When you come home from driving all over town all afternoon. And you pass through the last traffic signal light before entering your neighborhood. "Entering Sector 001. Prepare for docking."

Oh but Kirk does! All the time! Even more so as his shirt shrunk more in the wash. Look for it the next time you watch - you can't miss it ;)

The "Kirk Maneuver" is more subtle than Picard's. IIRC its a light thumb and fore finger tug on the front of the shirt near each hip, then sliding to the corresponding area on the back of the shirt. Wish I could remember an episode for an example.

When your son's middle name is Archer....
My Son's name is Samuel, partially as it's my fathers middle name, partially from George Samuel Kirk. If he'd been a girl he was going to be Kira, partially because it's a beautiful Celtic name, and partially because...

I used to wear different Bajoran earrings and still have a boxful of them. I bought them at flea markets, conventions, off Ebay, and even had some made for me from components I assembled. Most people didn't know what they were and often asked where the "other one" was. Haven't worn them in several years, but I still have them if I ever choose to again.

People around you think you're solving a problem, when in reality, all that's in your head is geordie saying "what would picard do?"

If you didn't nail the landing properly on the first attempt, I hope she'll allow you to keep trying. That, or head for the secondary or tertiary docking sites.
