You know you're a TOS fan if...

So TOS itself must be in a parallel universe to itself.

"We've been copied more times than that poster of the tennis girl scratching her butt!"

You know you're a Red Dwarf fan if you know which episode that's from....

(Though I could see McCoy saying it. Damn, now I'm hearing it in Deforest Kelly's voice.)

You know you're a TOS fan if...you're not happy with all these shows turning up claiming they're set years before the best Trek series ever! ;)

Uhmmm no! Leonard Nimoy once said that the success of Star Trek was like catching lightning in a bottle! None of the sequel shows of the last seventeen years can make that claim at all! :angryrazz:

What happened 17 years ago?

If you think Kirk's fighting techniques should be taught in all schools
If you find humans the leaders of an intergalactic military plausible
If you accept the female uniforms are professional
If you argue that TAS is canon

If you know Roberta Lincoln and Ronnie Neary are the same person.
If you feel sorry for the Gorn.
If the Horta's pain makes you cry.
If you just know Mirror-Pike burned a hole in that Talosian's head.
If you want an original phaser to remove the two inches of ice from your driveway.
If you relearn the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution just in case you're captured by the Yangs

If, as a child, you flipped your wallet open and said "Kirk to Enterprise".

If, at one time, you owned 50,000 individual 35mm film clips of Star Trek, from Lincoln Enterprises.

If you owned 'Mission to Horatius' years before Pocket reissued it.

If you know that the cover artwork for Star Trek 2 by James Blish was subtly tweaked when Wrath of Khan came out.

If your license plate reads JTK 1701.

Someone suggests that 'reality' is not based on religion, scientific coincidence, or The Matrix....but on Star Trek, and that Gary Mitchell is behind it all, and you seriously entertain the idea, even for a moment. :shifty:

When you get in the elevator, you reach for that weird hand-grip activation thing and find that it isn't there.

Or, you do seize a "hand-grip" and then realize you've just made a basketball player, ahem, very "happy"!

If you actually have a communicator wallet.

Alas not available at the moment or I would so get one.

If you can't reconcile Dr Elizabeth Dehner and Margaret Houlihan as being portrayed by the same actress.

If you state, "I'm thirsty" and that cup by the sink just freakin' sits there.

If you think anti-matter could solve all the world's energy problems, and why isn't CERN sharing theirs?

If you know you can build a powerful computer at home with a handful of vacuum tubes and a plank of wood 'cause Spock.
