XI's affect on TREK

i would say positive. here i am actually caring about oldtrek characters when i didn't want anything to do with them before lol. i was one of those "anything prior to the next generation didn't exist" people. >_<

The question is: What will work for them and what won't?

For example, I can't see too many kids getting into TMP. It would likely be just too slow-paced for them.

Just FYI about 2 years ago my 8 (then) year old son watched all the TOS movies except TMP. He couldn't get thru the first five minutes, declaring "Now I know why its called The Motionless Picture" (I honestly don't know where/how he heard that before).
