So, I may be visiting the southwest corner of Wyoming in the near future. Does anyone know anything about this area?

Anything to do in the Green River, Rock Springs, neighborhood?

Flaming Gorge National Park is in Northeastern Utah. It's roughly 80 miles from Green River.

ETA: The drive there is pretty interesting. You'll be in open range country -- no kidding, no fences for the cattle grazing beside the dirt road (unless they've been put up since I was there in 1997).
