Would you like looks, uniforms and such re-imagined?

I get that you're joking, but for the record they didn't retcon anything (of course). DS9 showed the same uniforms in "Trials and Tribble-ations". ENT showed the same uniforms in "In a Mirror, Darkly".

Not to mention the Kelvin-verse uniforms which are pretty similar to TOS, miniskirts and all. Probably the only thing they really got "right" about the look.

The word from cast and executives so far claim the sets are spectacular. With their budget I'm betting they will be the closest to movie quality we've seen. In that sense different from past trek.

Past trek didn't have to stand up to high definition.

To be fair have you ever heard people involved in a TV show say: "Yeah, we're having lots of fun and it's going to be released soon but to be honest the sets are kinda rubbish"?

If they're going for a look on-par with the recent Trek movies, I really hope they've got the budget to pull it off. If anyone saw the Krypton trailer before it was pulled, it's trying to look like the opening scenes of Man of Steel on a tiny fraction of the budget and it shows painfully.

No but I'd expect them not to be mentioned at all. Everyone is.

They just wouldn't say anything about it.
Don't actors have built into their contracts that they will speak positively about the show/movie in interviews and on social media? And the studios are the ones who lineup the interviews.

It isn't a option to not say anything.

Speaking honestly about a crappy production could have the potential to destroy a actor's career.

What I meant was they wouldn't not discuss the show at all if there was nothing but bad news.

Wasn't TNG the most expensive show on TV when it started in 1987? Or one of the most expensive?

"And we will build a wall around the Neutral Zone and the Romulans will pay for it!"
I don't know if the Romulans paid for it, but a wall in space (in the form of the neutral zone) was brought into existence. A large number of times, the RNZ was shown to be a good thing to have.

Good fences make good neighbors.

When?

Thinking through all the episodes I can recall at the moment, the RNZ only caused problems, and it never stopped either the Romulans or Federation from crossing into the other side whenever they really wanted to.
