The poll has closed and These Are The Voyages has come away with the title of TrekBBS's least favorite episode of ENT. I'm sure that's a surprise to no one. TATV will represent ENT against the least favorites from the other series in a poll after voting on the other episodes has completed in a few weeks.

Thanks to everyone who voted during this series!

I was hoping for a fake Worst Episode of Season 5 poll.

You know, your poll might have been a lot more interesting if you'd left out TaTV, although it probably still would have been a major force in the race by a write-in candidacy alone. In any case, the episode sucks up criticism and bad will like a black hole sucking up light which gets a bit old. I mean, we know its THE most hated episode of the series, no poll necessary.

The more interesting race is between ANIS and Terra Nova. I would never have guessed TN would have been as disliked by the fans as ANIS.

Well, one was a horrible character assasination and one was just horribly boring, so it tends to balance out I think. ;)

True. But the ultimate objective is to pit the least favorites of each series against each other in one poll in General Trek, and I couldn't justify a selection of TATV for ENT without having the poll series to back it up. I didn't want to make any presumptions about the results, because I have been surprised by some of the polls so far (Catspaw almost won TOS Season Two, and I never realized how much dislike there was for that episode; I've always enjoyed it).

As it is, I think I found out some pretty interesting things. The opening "nomination" rounds helped me gauge just how widespread the dislike for certain episodes were. For example, in the first poll for season one, Rogue Planet and Terra Nova tied for most votes, which shows me there is a lot of general dislike for both episodes. However, the dislike for Terra Nova is obviously much stronger since TN got more than twice as many votes in the second round.

Similarly, in season four I expected TATV to walk away with it, but I was surprised at how strongly Daedalus performed in both rounds, even with the juggernaut of TATV to compete against. That tells me that the people who dislike Daedalus really dislike it.

All in all, I've been pleased with the data I've collected. The results may yield some interesting ideas for alternate match-ups (like Terra Nova vs. A Night In Sickbay) but I'll leave that poll to someone else to conduct.

    "Debugging Entry" sucked ass.

That scene with Travis constipated on the toilet? Just awful.

Funny. A fake episode we make fun of is more popular than the real finale.

    Actually...that's sad.

And both VOYAGER Irish village holodeck episodes are infinitely worse. Those two give one serious considerations of suicide by wet power socket-fucking.

"If anything happens to Porthos, I'll be the one watering their Alvera trees!"

There is nothing in TATV, Spirit Folk, Spectre of the Gun, Way to Eden, STV, etc. that even comes close to a starship captain threatening to pee on an alien species' landmarks.

"TATV" and "ANiS" are why the terrorists hate us.
