I finally figured out why I haven't seen any contested territory: Moonrunner is a PvE server. When I had joined it, I thought it said PvP, but it isn't, and I'm fine with that. I used to love PvP, but I don't play nearly enough to go up against guys who have spent all day min/maxing, and it's nice to travel through territories without having to look over one's shoulder while just trying to level up.

Yeah, I started on Zil'jin, but the server was so packed I could never get in (we're talking 6,000+ queues all the time), so I looked for a lower pop server, and I ended up picking Moonrunner. When my character reached 20, I decided it was worth getting a sub, and now I'm a level 25 human warrior.

On the upside, it's nice wearing armor and swinging a giant-ass axe. On the downside, being a warlock is still more fun.

I've had a warlock main since the end of 2007. I also played him wrong until level 70 and then still probably played him wrong but then either didn't care, or by the time we started raiding in Wrath, I could dps enough it didn't matter. I've basically been playing him as Destruction the entire time. I tried Affliction for a month I think and still have it as my secondary spec, but I never use it. I tried Demo for PVP, but found out I've gotten so use to Shadowfury that I couldn't spec deep enough into Demo to be really a Demolock. So Destro all the way...and burn them all in fire (not green fire mind you. Never did find that quest).

Chaos Bolt is still one of the most fun additions to Warlock. A massive nuke that always crits. And by level 99 I had Improved Chaos Bolt which reduces the cast time by I think 2 seconds. So with full Embers I can almost spam Chaos Bolt as fast as Incinerate. I don't remember what the damage is now, but at 90 in epic raid gear (pre-squish) I've seen locks with 2 million damage chaos bolts. I managed 1 million. Last one I think I saw was 80,000 damage at level 98.

A peek at the Blood Elf update.

Since my main is a BE DK I was interested in this the most. I am happy with what they did and hope it translates well in-game. I know some feel they botched a few of the model updates but over all I think they have done a good job.

Well they still appear to be sexy, so not much was changed. More definition as they polycount goes up.
