Wonder Woman(NBC) *Spoilers!*

Really? I thought girls wanted to be princesses and have ponies when they grew up.
Well, ambassadors get called "Your Excellency", which I guess would be a step in the right direction.
Diana is a princess. She's the daughter of the queen of the Amazons. So she doesn't need to step in that direction, she was already there from the get-go.
I meant it would be a step in the right direction for the (generic, stereotypical, hypothetical) girl who wants to be a princess invoked in Dream's humorous comment. Just a simple pun on job-related titles. :D

You know why I like the real Guy Gardner?

He assumed that it was perfectly all right to call Diana 'WonderJugs" to her face.

The 80s. It's like another planet.

So, what's the over/under for how many weeks before this is cancelled?

Let's wait until NBC orders the series before we predict when it will be cancelled.

I think it will be picked up. It's getting a lot of buzz, and not just on genre sites. General TV sites are talking about it too.

Given the condition NBC is in, they would be fools not to pick it up, no matter what the condition of pilot.

I'm still wondering if they will even bother to green lit the series. As others have pointed out it's only a pilot. I'm not confident at this point but who knows.

This show could very well go on for a few seasons just like Kelley's other shows, but it could also become another Bionic Woman. A lot of failed shows are getting full seasons these days. Maybe this one will too at the very worst, assuming it gets past the pilot stage.

I mean, has there ever been a TV series revolving around ambassadors?
Star Trek: The Next Generation? Love the show, but at times, it seemed like it was all about ferrying ambassadors around.

I'm anticipating the threads yet to come, complaining about how NBC mishandled promotion or scheduling for the show, or how they cancelled it just when it was starting to gel or weren't factoring in the DVR viewings (the idiots! Don't network people know anything about how TV works?!) and the inevitable suggestion that it belonged in a different venue (probably on cable).
I've made some of those complaints... Why do they put all my favorite shows on Tuesday night up against eachother? Why wasn't this on cable where it might have stood a better chance? etc.

I'm hoping that the pilot translates better than the script that I couldn't make it through because I thought it was so bad.

I hope the pilot will be good and that they get at least one full season to develope the show further:)
Full run of several seasons would be the most fun ofcourse:cool:
Its so difficult to judge a product, when most information we have is casting, some photos, few interviews..and tons of internet rumours/opinions:shifty:
I think Kelley has produced/written some very good shows like The Practice and Boston Public(and honestly many others).
I doubt he would start a project that could not write and do well, so I hope we see a good pilot(if not great):)
