Will There Be a Gala Premiere in Europe?

I know that the world premiere will be in LA. But what about Europe? Will the cast come here as well? And will it be possible to get tickets?

The TNG cast always came to London so I would find it strange if Abrams and the cast didn´t.

I'd be utterly astonished if they didn't do another press tour on the release of the movie.

Simultaneous international releases can be tricky to get the whole cast to every major premiere event, though, and this film's opening nearly everywhere in the same week.

Although, isn't Belgium (or somewhere in Europe) actually getting it first?

TMP was released over several weeks in different parts of the world, and Australia was able to host DeForest Kelley and Persis Khambatta, but only because they had several weeks between the Washington premiere and Australia's first gala preview.

I'm assuming Eric Bana may be at a US premiere of ST XI, not an Australian venue the night before.

^ Actually, that's a good point. I forgot its a (practically) world wide release.

They might farm a few out to the UK (pegg), and Au (Bana) though - I suspect it would depend on the individual work schedules of the actors.

Yes, it opens first in Belgium, France and (French-speaking) Switzerland on May 6th, then in Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Thailand, Israel, Lebanon, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia & Montenegro, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, (German-speaking) Switzerland, Russia, Ukraine, Argentina, Chile and Peru on the 7th.
