Will SFA Season 2 Actually Air?

That’s the real point, isn’t it? This is about subscriber base and engagement. The interesting thing is even though SFA hasn’t been a very popular series, it sure has been discussed a lot. What a lot of people don’t get is that even negative discussion is engagement. And sure, I’m certain there are those who use, um, less than legal means, to watch streaming Trek, watching the show on P+ does show as a positive for the series. While Skydance might have decided not to continue, more likely, enough people turned from SFA to not warrant renewing it. But with all the whining about streaming Trek, it took ten years, six series and 251 episodes to reach that point. So yes, SFA season 2 will likely air. Mainly because of Trekkie FOMO.
Has it? Outside this place a lot of places I look at the discussion just dies out, positive and negative. Most of it just goes back to arguing about old trek.

Doing a search on Reddit shows active threads as of this evening (CST).

The season's already filmed and complete, the money's already been spent. If they are as picky about money as you claim, it would make more sense to air the season at this point, to at least try to make back a profit. Even if S1 didn't get the highest ratings it could have, I doubt it did so bad they actually lost money airing it. They won't lose money airing S2 either.
They don't get any more money if they air it.

You suggested that conversations die out in the places you visit. I gave one example of a place where that was obviously not the case. Then you come back with that response? What’s your game here?
Tons of reddit threads are made by bots for promotion purpose. Or its just meme after meme with a couple of replies. That's reddit in a nutshell.

Definitely see it discussed on Reddit, on Facebook Trek groups and other boards I visit.

For something so hated people sure like to to discuss rather than do something fun.
I'm sure. ;)
