Confusingly, Neville page will reimagine the French look, and they will all have full head appliances and no hair.

It should be no problem.
So I'm currently on my umpteenth rewatch of DS9, I'm still enjoying the episodes immensely. I did the same with Enterprise not so long ago and can say the same.
I watched an Episode of Discovery for just the 3rd time and really didn't enjoy it much. Could it be:
1. The hype of having Trek back on TV is over so I'm not watching it with Rose tinted glasses.
2. It's just not as rewatchable as the others.
3. Meh, you don't always enjoy them on rewatch.
What are other peoples thoughts on rewatching Discovery and whether it will stand the test of times as the others (mostly) have?
I am? O_O I didn't know that...Discovery won't stand up to repeat viewings. Mainly because it relies too heavily on arc cliffhangers and cheap twists. Once you know what happens, you are less inclined or interested to rewatch an episode.
Don't know about that. Sonequa Martin-Green's performance has ALOT of layers to it and they unspool deliciously on repeat viewings. Speaking as someone who just finished rewatching "Into the Forest".The writing is also very surface-level, so there isn't much to go back and rewatch for deeper meaning on repeat viewings.
I haven't seen that at all. What I HAVE seen is a lot of haters being negative for negativity's sake pretty much from the beginning.I can already tell from this board and others that the 'honeymoon' phase for STD is coming to an end. Many convinced themselves that they enjoyed the episodes during first viewings, but then had mixed/divisive reactions to the season as a whole on retrospect, when looking at the big picture.
I have seasons of lost on my shelf that I've never watched for the first time.
There isn't. Just another baseball bat against Discovery. As with everything, people who don't like it will naturally say "no" and people who do like it will say "yes". Not sure there's any magic to uncover in this question.
I want the mirror Borg to be utter benelovent, peaceful beings. That want to bring harmony to the galaxy, and giving everyone a choice to be assimilated or not. Not forcing anyone, but luring in with the prospect of post-scarcity, complete protection, ultimate safety and conformity (through the prize of less freedom). On first sight more harmless than the prime-version. But actually making people give up their individuality voluntarily. Something like a nightmare-version of the Federation. Less evil on the outside, but more insedious in their way to achieve total assimilation and domination of the galaxy.
