They seem to have retconned the light blue of McCoy's smock as the medical color.Have we seen SNW M’Benga in the darker blue?
He and the other medical staff wear either light blue or white. His dress uniform was also lighter blue than Spock’s.
In the alt timeline future of "Quality of Mercy" Chapel is in blue and I think all the medical personnel are also in blue. Does white mean civilian and blue Starfleet?And I'm fine with that, though I think having another separate colour (white) for nurses is excessive.
