Does anyone know the exact type of measuring cup they used as the Klingon bloodwine mugs in DS9 and VOY?
Most sources just say that it is a metal measuring cup, 0.5 qt, but there are several companies: Winco, Thunder, etc.
And the pictures look a little different, wider and shorter, and with rounder, softer edges at the lip and the bottom.
I saw that many are on sale right now and got the cheapest with shipping (Thunder). They do look close enough, but not quite the same.
0.5 qt on the left, 1 qt on the right. The handle is connected at the bottom on the 0.5, but not in the props, so I thought it's probably the 1 qt version.
They also seem a bit wider instead of taller. Maybe the manufacturing process has changes to make softer curves for better pouring
I'm happy with them as they are, but would still like to figure out which is the definitive one to get, and if they are even still made like that.
