Actually, Yor Joking is the character's full name. He's from a culture like the Bajorans which places the family name first, and that's why he was addressed as Lt Commander Yor.

I heard he also went by yor crazy, especially when people found out he was a time soldier.

Vance and Kovich are the best. None of the other new characters really impress me. I was not a fan of Green Kathy Grirffin, but last week's episode was pretty cool. I honestly think that Vance should not have requested that she stand trial.
Oh, Aurellio is now one of my all-time faves.

I like all the newcomers, but Book is absolutely stealing the show for me. Give me a gorgeous, smartass space shaman who loves his cat, and I will sit up and pay attention, apparently.

So many choices. I'm not putting a poll in because it's not a competition. I think DSC has knocked it out of the park this season with the new characters.

Those are the stand-outs for me this season. Osyraa too, potentially, if they give her more to work with. I need to see more of Gray. And Ryn! I thought he'd only be in one episode. Then, to my surprise, he stuck around.

I was also hoping we'd see more of Willa. It feels like she should've been assigned to Discovery. I still say she would've been my choice for First Officer.

Book and Vance for me

I would watch Book if he got his own show, that's how much I like his character.

Vance is the first Star Fleet admiral I have liked since the one from Enterprise who died in the terrorist attack. Great actor.

Fehr has a lot of that accomplished top quality actor vibe that usually plays the captain in Trek
