Germany:

Probably not right away, Picard and Lower Decks are free on amazon prime here and I bought Discovery season 4 there. So right now all I'd get would be Prodigy and that on its own isn't enough even if I want to watch it.

It depends. In the UK the old star trek is still on Netflix, when Paramount+ comes here that will probably mean it all moves over there. Some of the newer series like Lower Decks I've not seen yet as I don't have amazon prime. I think it'll be yes if it's not too pricey.

Until they added Picard ‪‪I would only subscribe to CBS All Access when Discovery was airing new episodes, but knowing they would have the marathon run of Lower Decks Season 1 and Discovery Season 3 back to back, ‪‪I ended up keeping it for a while, and stayed for the changeover to Paramount+.

For the most part ‪‪I enjoy all the Trek content, new and old, and I watch their new 24 hour Trek live channel a whole lot.

And ‪‪I’ve also enjoyed the series No Activity and Evil, and ‪‪I can rewatch the absolutely brilliant show Review from Andy Daly, and maybe the occasional episode of Cheers or Daria. ‪‪I’ve found it worth it to get the year long commercial free plan last year, but that’ll be different for everyone.

Nope. I don’t have ANY streaming services. I tried out Netflix for a while but all I ended up doing was looking for shows to buy on DVD, so I got rid of it again. Even if I was a Trekkie I wouldn’t be getting a streaming service just to watch Trek. Not worth it. IMO.

"The Mayor of Kingstown" and "The Good Fight" are the best TV series on that streaming service. I highly recommend those 2 series.

they have a ps4 app. I don't know why they wouldn't have one for PS5. In fairness the PS4 one has always been a little clunky. I stopped using it and just go direct through roku on the main TV.
I never had any problems with my PS4 app, could be something with the router connections for each individual.

Used to have it, along with the other streaming services mentioned. Gave them up when I was furloughed/laid off during the early days of the pandemic. Don't miss them as I was barely watching them. I just wait for my local library to get the shows I want to watch on DVD.

On the other hand, because my kids like and use Netflix quite a lot, I may keep Netflix and then pick a random month as Trek month, sub just for that month and binge the year’s worth of new Trek during that month.
It’s not long ago I did a full Trek rewatch on Netflix, so it’ll be a while before I feel the need to rewatch the older stuff anyhow.

I actually own all the movies on BR (and I have the recently released 4K set), and I have TOS and TNG complete on BR. The other series I don't own, though...and I do like browsing VOY/ENT/DS9 from time to time, so having them available streaming is really important to me.

I got CBS All Access when PIC debuted and when it became Paramount+, I got grandfathered in at my current tier. Aside from now having every Trek series and movie available at the push of a button, there is also a ton of non-Trek stuff I like that I've only scratched the surface with.

What does Paramount+ even have besides Star Trek?

They've developed a pretty wide variety of original programming, actually. And they have most of Paramount Pictures's back catalog of films.

Nope. That is why I haven't caught up with Discovery. Ever try to binge watch on a smartphone?

That's literally how I first saw most of season four of Game of Thrones. Holding my cell phone up close to my face with the earphones in to see the Battle of Castle Black in "The Watchers on the Wall!" :D

I’ve had it since the beginning.

It’s decent enough. Outside of all the Star Trek, it’s got live sports, current CBS shows we can watch without commercials.

There’s an exclusive series on now called The Mayor of Kingstown which we think is really good.

Since the plague started, we have all the streaming services, and we always find something to watch.
