Brett or Jermain from flight of the conchordes would make ace vulcans, although probably not captain material. Brett has the look, you can tell from his appearance as an elf in LOTR that he would make a superb Vulcan.

Series 6 should be a remake of TNG with Michael Chiklis as Picard. None of this diplomatic stuff...imagine Vic Mackey dealing with the enemies of the Federation. No one would be safe.
