Who DOESN'T love Kestra Troi-Riker?!

Bunnicorns are cute and Kestra should not be shooting them.

She murdered the rabbit equivalent of Twilight Sparkle. :(

That said, her hair hanging down as she hung off her bunk to chat to Soji was very adorable.

So much for Riker's season one screed about respecting and not eating animals, I guess....

In a world where you can replicate meat in seconds, it seems particularly cruel and pointless to kill animals for food.

They also point out in this episode that real apples taste better than replicated apples. Perhaps real meat tastes better than replicated.

I didn't like them eating meat from hunting, especially cute little bunnys.

I mean it has been referenced in Star Trek as still on going to some degree, but it seems kind of outlandish for the 24th Century.

And Lwaxana is likely very proud of her granddaughter. No other girl has a grandma like Kestra Troi-Riker (the Litverse went with Riker-Troi, which sounds better IMO).
My first thought upon hearing that was ... "Troika!"
(at the 2:03 mark)

Ummmnn.... Soji ate a Tomato.
Apples grow on Trees not Vines.

Unless one happens to live on a planet where even the soil has some kind of rejuvenating properties.
Obviously, the creatures living there may also have that ability.

Was not a big fan of her cultural appropriation.
I hope you were joking. Since Thad is basically J.R.R. Tolkien, that's like saying people cosplaying as LotR characters are guilty of cultural appropriation.
It's really only cultural appropriation when it offends the people being appropriated which is impossible when said culture does not actually exist.
